INHS opens SY '25-'26, introduces staff, restates school policies to students

TUAO, Cagayan — ‎Itawes National High School (INHS) officially opened its doors to students on Monday, June 16, as it marked the first day of classes for the School Year 2025–2026. 
‎In a brief flag ceremony held at the school gymnasium, the school principal formally welcomed and gathered the student body to begin a new academic chapter.
‎"Our dear students, welcome to Itawes National High School for this brand new School Year 2025-2026," said Dr. Rolan Catubag, School Principal I of INHS. 
‎Moreover, reminders on school policies were announced to ensure a smooth transition to academic routines.
‎"In Itawes National High School (INHS), we have our school rules and regulations, these rules should be followed strictly," he added.
‎Furthermore, teachers also greeted their new advisory classes, while returning students reunited with friends and new students familiarized themselves with the school environment.
‎"Dapat yung energy niyo, ma-sustain hanggang march 31, 2026. Magpakabait kayo para makatapos kayo rito sa INHS," Catubag stated.
‎He concluded by encouraging everyone to embrace the new beginning with energy and enthusiasm.
‎Meanwhile, to boost the students on the first day, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Batch Tanglaw distributed free candies to the students as they entered the gates of the institution. 
‎"It's a simple gesture of love para sa mga students. Ginawa namin siya para in a way, ma-boost yung students sa first day of school as well as maka-form ng bond between the SSLG and the students," said Delano Domingo Jr., SSLG President of INHS.
