TUAO, Cagayan — Itawes National High School (INHS) kicked off on June 2, 2025 the enrollment period as part of its preparation for the School Year (SY) 2025-2026, welcoming various enrollees for Grade 7 on the first day.
The said activity started off early in the morning, with the school accommodating hundreds of students, parents, teachers, and volunteers who aim to fulfill their respective parts on the enrollment.
Following a total of six steps, the Grade 7 enrollees, together with their parents, all passed the documents required for enrollment, filled out sets of forms, and answered short reading comprehension tests after their respective one-on-one reading ability test with INHSian teachers.
The test covered two reading sessions and two written tests: one for Filipino and English, respectively.
In addition, to avoid hassle and clumping of students, the proctors decided to hand out numbered slips of paper to some enrollees, indicating their order and schedule in the afternoon session and the following sessions this week.
This move was done after the overwhelming wave of enrollees this morning, where students kept on coming and adding up from 7 AM until 12 noon.
Moreover, to cover some work and assist the teachers in monitoring the said enrollment, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers also attended and helped in the different processes of the activity.
Meanwhile, the schedule for the different grade levels is posted on the Official Facebook Page of the school and also on the Facebook Page of its student publication.
To provide detailed procedures for the enrollment, the staff of The Campus Spotlight also prepared a short vlog, covering the six steps of the enrollment and the happenings on the first day.
On the other hand, the basic requirements to bring for enrollment are progress report card, photocopy of PSA birth certificate, good moral character certificate (for transferees only), and enrollment form (can be acquired upon enrollment).
